May 2013 Remembered – Back To Yellowstone

We have come to post number five in my series “Twelve months in thirteen days.” I’ve always wanted to do this. The time is now! This means a post each day for the rest of the year, for each month of this year, remembering people, places, and rocks I have gotten to know better in 2013.

It would be my third summer rangering in Yellowstone. My route was around 450 miles and it took me from southern Utah up through the Bear Lake National Wildlife Refuge on the eastern Utah–Idaho border, through Jackson, Wyoming and Grand Teton National Park, and on into Grant Village and points north.

Bear lake raspberry milkshakes are world-famous!

Do like the sign says...

Warm and dry, home sweet home for the summer

Still in Yellowstone
