Jeanette “Novarupta Tour Guide to the Stars” Meleen, Robert “Novarupta Ninja Climber” Finer, and last but not least “Novarupta Nina” Fitzgerald hiked to the USGS Baked Mountain hut in the Valley of 10,000 Smokes and then to Novarupta, the site of the worlds’ largest volcanic eruption of the 20th century.
We had perfect clear-blue-sky weather the entire 3 days and then some.
The night sky took my breath away.
